We are Kallie and Josh Stumberg, married duo based in Helena, MT, and we really do love vintage.

We became vintage sellers in 2019 when we lived in Seattle, where Kallie managed a monthly vintage market. Josh came out to support and fell in love with all the vendors! He realized it was time for us to take our life-long love of vintage and treasure hunting and become vendors ourselves! Thus Hoot Owl Vintage was born!

After moving back to Josh’s hometown of Helena, we started doing pop ups around the state and were soon welcomed into Golden’s Girls Antique Mall. After running that booth for some time, Kallie met Leah Hathaway, owner of Margie’s Vintage. Together we helped cast vision and establish Margie’s Vintage brick & mortar located at 112 E. 6th Ave in downtown Helena, MT. Today Hoot Owl Vintage has booths at Golden Girls and Margie’s Vintage, so stop by and see all the vintage goods!

For the last 6 years we have been vending at the Sweet Bee Vintage Market and working with owner Cindy Loacker. We were so honored when she approached us about handing off the rights to the market and becoming the new owners! We absolutely love this community and are excited we get to continue this legacy!

The Cabin Fever Market has been happening every winter at the Helena Civic Center since 1982 and was started by Tori Marion. She handed the reigns over to Cindy in 2022 and even vended at that market even though she was “retired”. We had the pleasure of meeting her at the first Cabin Fever Market that Cindy hosted in 2022. Tori was a beloved pillar in the antique community and passed in 2023.

When Cindy took ownership, she incorporated Cabin Fever into her Sweet Bee brand and added the Fall vintage market to the lineup! Now that we are taking over, we will continue to host two markets a year; Cabin Fever in the Winter which is themed as a Valentine’s vintage market and the Fall vintage market. Cindy will still be around too and will continue to sell her curated vintage finds under the name Sweet Bee Vintage. You can shop her booths at Bella Peacock and Golden Girls Antique Mall!

So here we are, at the beginning of a new chapter with Fox Trot Vintage Market but continuing a legacy that has been set in motion long before us. We are honored and excited to keep the tradition alive, to cherish familiar faces and to welcome new ones.
